Review: L’Avyanna Skin Naturals Super Skin Detox Vitamin C Skin Brightening Lotion SPF 50+
I first heard about L’Avyanna from one of my best friends.
She has sensitive skin so a lot of great products irritate her skin and give her
bumps. A pharmacist recommended a vitamin C face cream from the L’Avyanna range
to her. After a few months her skin was definitely smoother, brighter and more
even. I’ve become a believer in this brand but even though I’ve been meaning to try the face cream, I haven't done so yet.
I got transferred back to the construction site at work so the first product from the range I decided to try is the sunscreen body lotion. Although I don’t know how much Vitamin C it contains, I do know that sunscreen works better when combined with Vitamin C so I was already taken by the formula. I also love the fact that it comes with an amazing pump that helps to control the amount of product that comes out. This is also better because the product is not exposed to light and air at any time so it doesn’t lose its potency. In addition to Vitamin C it contains Vitamin E.
This product makes a wonderful addition to any skin care routine, protecting the skin from sun damage and free radicals.
Pros:
- Very high SPF
- Contains vitamin C which helps sunscreen work better
- Does not leave ashy residue
Cons:
- Unpleasant fragrance (doesn't linger though)
The directions say you can use this on your face but I currently use Olay Regenerist Regenerating Sunscreen Lotion
SPF15 which does a great job. I bought this L’Avyanna Skin Naturals Super Skin Detox Vitamin C Skin Brightening Lotion SPF 50+ at Casabella in Ikeja
City Mall for N5,500 but I believe it’s available in other Casabella shops, Invivo shops, Healthplus and
Medplus pharmacies across Nigeria. I can't guarantee that the price would be uniform so feel free to compare if you wish.
